Every visitor starts their climb at the Pidurangala Sigiri Rajamaha Viharaya. The ticket office opens at 5:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM. Foreign adults pay an entrance fee of 1,000 LKR in exact cash.

Because the base is an active religious site, you must dress modestly. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. You can read more about the Dress Code Guide to prepare.
